St. Charles Chill

The St. Charles Chill were an expansion team of the defunct CHL; playing at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri for one season. The organization held a logo design contest (the nickname for the team was already chosen) in the summer of 2012 and I won with my concept of a frozen C; which derived from the idea to create the antithesis of the Calgary Flames logo. I started working for the Chill in 2013 as their Graphic Designer working on multiple projects. The Chill managed to become affiliated with the NHL's St. Louis Blues mid-season but unfortunately folded due to merging of the CHL with the ECHL.
